Double Chocolate Cookies

Finally I got the opportunity to go shopping!!!

It was a quick one though and just got what I needed~

After my dentist appointment, I passed by The Face Shop, a South Korean based store, and grabbed a couple of items:

1-Cleansing Rice Water face make up Remover AED 39
2-Lip & eye make up remover AED 39
3- Two nail polish  AED 24
4- Nail sticker   AED 10

Before leaving, I grabbed their catalogue to see what else do they sell & how much it costs.

I was looking for a blush brush since mine was too old and falling apart! The saleswoman said this brush is multi-purpose and can be used as a blush~
Hopefully it can do that because it seems to be more of a perfect foundation brush.
But it is a super soft brush I've never felt something like it ever!

They gave me a gel mask to try out for free! A review about it will follow soon.

The make up removers were pretty good & they actually remove the make up completely. The cleansing rice water has a lovely fragrance!!

Afterwards, I passed by Plug-Ins to buy headphones.

It costs AED 39. My heart was broken but I needed a new one since mine doesn't work anymore :<
I couldn't get myself to buy a pink headphones coz they cost around AED 100~

Before leaving, I realized that I forgot to buy a clear nail polish to give my nails a nice shine, so I quickly passed by Skin Food, another South Korean store.


I also couldn't help but get 2 crystal nail stickers~ They were so cute! Unfortunately I don't remember how much they cost but in total it was AED 50 >. >

I'm really happy I was finally able to go shopping even if it was quick after a long time :D Really brought happiness to my day :3

Song Ji Eun (Secret) ft. Bang Yong Kook - Going Crazy MV [English subs +...

Since last week, this song has been stuck in my head before finding out the meaning to it.

From a female K-pop (Korean Pop) group Secret, main vocalist Song Ji Eun released her solo

digital track called "going crazy".

As you read along the translation to the song in the video above, it's more like he was stalking his

girlfriend and then she does that back to him or maybe it's more about how she's constantly thinking about him. I honestly did not understand the story/message behind it but I love the song so much that

it became my ringtone on my cellphone XD

Strawberry Tootsie Rolls Lollipop

Hi everyone! Hope you've all been well!!
It's been almost 3 weeks since I last posted!!! @-@
Long story short, I kept delaying when to post and didn't have pictures prepared+ last week I've been sick and forced to take medicine >.>
Finally today, I decided to post and do my best not to get side tracked again & do at least once a week!!

Today I went to the dentist for another check up and see what must be done for my front teeth since there's a big gap between them because of their small size. My next appointment will be on Tuesday and the dentist will be taking measurements and such.
After I was done, I passed by Spinneys and bought these for emergency dinners: 4 packs of noodles & processed cheese. I was inspired by Simon & Martina (a couple was live in South Korea, check out their website http://eatyourkimchi.com) who showed how to make gourmet ramyun (Korean word for noodles) using ramyun & few other ingredients. Here's my version:

1- Boil water then add noodles/pancit (whatever you got but preferably  Maagi noodles). Prepare one egg (beaten & whipped) & cheese.

 2- After the noodles just gotten soft, put in the sachets that came with the noodles, mix together. Then, add the egg. Remember when you do that, pour it in a swirl motion and don't mix the egg so that it'll cook equally on the noodles.

                                      

3- Once the egg has been cooked, add the cheese on top. Give it around 10 seconds and your dish is done!

4- Tada! My serving doesn't look great but really tastes good :D

Lately, I've been loving these products for sometime & one just recent.

Fairydrops Mascara Platinum. I bought it from Yesstyle.com. They are my absolute favorite mascara of the month!! This is how its wand looks like.

As you can see, the wand is semi curled and has three thingies that curls, lengths & volumizes the eyelashes. It's not joke I swear on it!

A red lipgloss from SHE. Actually my friend gave it to me but I rarely used it because it's  a strong color~ However when I wore first wore it, it looked so different on me and nice. The shade really reminds me of Christmas.

                      Sepohra's lipstick in the shade of #2 attitude & from Lancome Star Dust.

A combination of them give a light shimmer on the lipstick

EOS lip balm/ chapstick in honey suckle. it smells so good and keeps your lips soft & moist.

Maybelline black gel eyeliner. My other favorite makeup product but since January.

Using an angled brush, I put on the top on my eyelids.

My colleague gave me one today at work! Tootsie Rolls in cherry & raspberry. I wanted more but my colleague almost chopped my arms off >.>; 

They're so yummy I want to get a big pack of them XD

I would also like introduce a Korean singer I've been a fan of since her debut. Her name is G.Na (Gina) who was born & lived in Canada until she moved to Seoul, South Korea, to persue her dream as a singer. She debuted last year with her mini album "I'll Back Off So You Can Live Better."

This time, she released a track called Black & White. It's a very fun cheerful song. My favorite for the week. Hope you enjoy it!!

Chocolate Fudge

Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing well ^-^

I had an exciting week because I attended this orientation at work and it was super really fun! I met alot of new people who were also new to the company I started working for. One of the main important things I learn during the orientation the health, safety and security issues, like which extinguisher to use for which kind of fire, where are the emergency exits & the fire drills~ God forbid for such things to happen but we need to be prepared.

Friday was quite busy day & became quite hectic because a sandstorm suddenly hit the UAE!!

0.0 it was a scary chaotic moment because I was just walking up on the stairs when I suddenly heard a weird sound coming from outdoors!!! I looked through the window to realize that everything turned white because the wind was really strong and it was carrying sand with it, destroying anything weak against it (like our small plants & papaya tree which was carrying a lone fruit my mother was planting that was just growing really well). Mom & I saved the rest of her babies but the front yard and our balcony and backdoor was covered in sand (later we found out that some of the rooms upstairs & our living room also got sand~).

Saturday, mom & I ran quick errands & payed bills. I also had an opportunity to make a quick shopping spree! well it wasn't literally shopping spree, just few things I need to get like: biscuits from work (apparently Digestive is a  big deal at work & it seems everyone loves it & has it in their drawers :P) & green tea~ I also got hair dye since I felt it was time. I was letting my hair grow out since April 2010 & is at a length I have never experienced in my life! To feel it beyond my shoulders made me go @-@, yet I am happy with my decision of letting it grow rather than chopping it short like I used to.

 This is the dye I got:

Now, the color of the dye is "golden brown" and the color check, you can see it'll turn into brown with some tints of blond underneath. The dye, somehow, gave reddness with the brown rather than the blond on my hair. I shouldn't be judging already too soon because the color comes out gradually, but this is what happened so far. Ummm I guess while I'm at it I should confess that I left the dye longer than 40 mins (maybe about a total of an hour) and I assume that could be the reason why~
Anyways, I'm still happy because my hair had been half brown half black for some months now~


I was just about to end my blog but then I decided, "what if I posted my favorite song of the week"? Interested? Not? Let me know what you think.
For this week, this Korean girl group made their comeback after more than a year on Jan 28th on Korean music shows. Their track is called "Back it Up". It's a fun song to dance to (& to play when you're getting ready to out to work or out!) & one that won't get out of your head :p

Chocolate Pie & Ice cream

Hi everyone! Hope you're all well.
This week has gone quite well I must say. I went through it just like any other week: Home, Work, Sleep :3
However, last Thursday (20th) I attended this training at work called "Who Moved My Cheese?" (based in the book with the same title written by Spencer Johnson). I highly recommend everyone to read the book for a life changing opportunity (& if you have read it, then read it again :p). Just a quick explanation, it talks about the change that happens in our lives and the different approaches that people choose & its effect.
As I went through the training, I felt like it was wacking me on my head and shaking me to wake up. ^-^;
One thing I learned is to move on even after acknowledging the change. Thank God I didn't tear up or it'll be completely embarrassing!!!

While at work, I found a super delicious desert!!! Apple pie & ice cream with chocolate sauce!!! OMG just so heavenly good!! The combination of warm & cool is just indescribable!! I highly really advice you to try it (esp if you a sweet tooth)!!!

Chocolate Berries n' Cream

Hey everyone! Been a long while hasn't it?
Been another busy week+laziness~ ugh I should stop letting laziness get to me~

Well one thing that I'm unexpectedly excited about is Wild Wadi's new slides!
They even have their own youtube channel where they posted the launch of the rides~ Seems scary yet pretty awesome :p
The slides are called Tantrum Alley & Burj Surj. Both hold the concept of tornadoes & storms. Tantrum Alley has 3 'tantrums' that  will take you around and around, & Burj Surj has 2 'bowls' that goes really fast.

Another thing I'm literally hooked up to is: Twitter!
I guess it's one of those things that you need people to tell you how it actually works (unless you love exploring and trying out alot ^^). In my case, I had a Twitter account somewhere in the beginning of 2010 (thts as close as I can remember) but never understood it 100% until I had a valuable opportunity to talk to social media experts to tell me everything about twitter and also introduced me to TweetDeck (a very useful software where you get the tweets instantly & manage it, I'm probably not explaining it so please google it). I also downloaded Ubertweet in my Blackberry so if I need to tweet, I use my phone without the need to use my laptop :p even if you have to tweet more than 140 words, it can automatically tweet using Tweelonger.com. You don't need to log in to tweetlonger.com to tweet long or even if uploading pics & vids, it'll automatically upload using Plixi (or other photo share site that has Twitter )!

Merry Belated Christmas & Happy New Year!!!
How are you all are doing? I almost missed another week of no update!!!

Well really not much happened, just full of excitment and anxiety of what 2011 has in store for us.
Kinda scary, huh? Like, a surprise party you'd rather not have/attend to.

It's been getting colder here in Dubai, so I got out all the sweaters and jackets that I have XD

In the last 2 weeks of December, I've been into shimmer makeup~

yes shimmery eyes. it's not very clear but it's suppose to be emerald shimmer on my bottom eyelash.

For dinner, I got myself in the kitchen to make french toast!~

I don't eat white bread so I used brown bread instead. It tastes a tad bit different but still good~
I drank it with milk & honey :D
